• I look at the pads and rotors and the related parts and fluid that affect how the vehicle stops.
• I explain what I found and what I recommend, with photos when they help.
• If you approve the estimate, I replace the pads, rotors or related parts the job needs.

What helps me give you an estimate

• Year, make and model, or the VIN
• What you’re noticing, and whether it’s the front or rear if you know
• Whether you already know what you need (for example, front pads and rotors)
• Where the vehicle is parked

What affects the price

• Your vehicle: brake parts and labor differ from one model to another
• The work it actually needs: pads only, pads and rotors, or other related parts
• The parts used and their availability
• Whether the repair can be done safely where the vehicle is parked

If you already know what you need, ask for a quote. If something has to be diagnosed first, the diagnostic visit is $90, credited toward the repair if you authorize it.

Coverage

Standard repairs using parts I supply include six months of coverage on those parts and my installation workmanship, starting when the repair is completed. Customer-supplied parts receive workmanship coverage only. Used engines, transmissions and other major assemblies have separate written warranty terms. Full warranty terms.
