Mobile repair services

What I work on at your home, workplace or wherever the vehicle is parked. Whether a repair can be done on site depends on the vehicle and the location, so I’ll confirm that with you first.

Brakes

Brake pads, rotors and related brake repairs, plus noises, pulling or a soft pedal. I inspect first and quote for your vehicle and the work it actually needs.

Cooling systems

Coolant leaks and overheating concerns: finding where it’s coming from, then repairs that can be done safely where the vehicle is parked.

Suspension and CV axles

Inspection of clunks, play and worn parts, and repairs such as control arms and CV axles.

Something else? Describe it in the request form or text me, and I’ll tell you whether it’s work I can take on.

When I tell you a lifesaver! I went to two shops and they told me it was just the battery was the reason my car kept shutting off. Matthew listen to what I was saying and figured it out it was the ground cable. Highly recommend and I am so glad my good sis recommended me to him!

Matthew replaced both front CV axles in my vehicle on a Friday evening. My SUV is running super smooth. Well done, nice guy, and very reasonable price for the work. 100% recommend.

Meet Matthew

I’m Matthew, owner and operator of Cypress Creek Mobile Services. I’m an ASE-certified automotive technician with about 20 years of experience. I ran a traditional repair shop before moving to mobile service in 2021, and today I specialize in mobile diagnostics and repairs.

When you call, text or send a request, you’re dealing with me, and I’m the one who comes out to the vehicle. I handle brakes, no-start problems, batteries, starters and alternators, cooling-system leaks, and suspension and CV axle work.

Before I repair anything, I explain what I found, with photos when they help, and give you a written estimate. Nothing gets repaired until you approve it.

How a visit works

  1. Tell me what’s wrong

Call, text, or send a request below with your vehicle and where it’s parked. I’ll contact you to confirm a time.

  2. I diagnose on site

I come to you for the $90 diagnostic visit and explain what I find, with photos when they help.

  3. You approve, I repair

You get a written estimate first. Approve it and I do the work, with the $90 credited toward the repair.

The diagnostic visit is $90. I come to you and find the problem. If you authorize the repair, the $90 is credited toward it.

Standing behind the work

Six-month limited repair warranty

Standard repairs using parts I supply include six months of coverage on those parts and my installation workmanship, starting when the repair is completed. If a covered part is confirmed defective or my workmanship causes a problem during that period, I’ll correct the covered repair at no charge.

Customer-supplied parts receive workmanship coverage only. Used engines, transmissions, and other major assemblies have separate written warranty terms.

If a concern returns

Contact me at (832) 490-5450 so I can inspect it and determine coverage.

View warranty details
Parts I supply
On standard repairs, the part I supply and my installation workmanship are covered for six months, beginning on the date the repair is completed.
A defective part
If inspection confirms that a part I supplied is defective within that period, I replace the covered part and install it at no charge to you.
A workmanship problem
If my installation workmanship causes a problem within that period, I correct the covered workmanship at no charge.
Parts you provide
My installation workmanship is covered for six months. The part itself is not covered by my warranty. If it fails on its own, not because of my workmanship, you are responsible for getting a replacement part and for the labor to install it.
Used engines, transmissions and other major assemblies
The standard six-month warranty does not automatically apply to these jobs. They have separate written warranty terms, explained to you and agreed on before the work begins.
What the warranty applies to
The original covered repair. It does not cover unrelated problems with the vehicle.
What is not covered
  • Normal wear. A confirmed defect or installation error is still covered, even on a part that normally wears.
  • A failure caused by misuse, neglect, overheating, improper maintenance, or another component of the vehicle. This applies only when that condition caused the failure being claimed.
How to request warranty service

Call (832) 490-5450 before arranging any warranty repair elsewhere. I’ll review the concern and arrange an inspection.

A returning symptom does not by itself establish a warranty claim. The inspection determines whether the concern relates to the covered part or my workmanship.

Common questions

What does the diagnostic visit cost?

$90. I come to where the vehicle is parked, find the problem, and explain what I found.

When is the diagnostic fee credited toward a repair?

If you authorize the repair, the $90 is credited toward it. You get a written estimate before any repair, and nothing is repaired until you approve it.

Can I provide my own parts?

Sometimes. I accept customer-supplied parts case by case, so tell me what part you have and where it came from when you send your request. I may decline a part that’s incorrect, unsuitable, unsafe or questionable, and the labor price is agreed with you before the job.

How does the warranty work with parts I provide?

My installation workmanship is covered for six months. The part itself isn’t covered by my warranty, so if it fails on its own, not because of my workmanship, you’re responsible for the replacement part and the labor to install it. Full warranty terms.

How can I pay?

Zelle, cash or Cash App. A bank transfer can be arranged.

What are your hours?

Every day, 9 AM to 7 PM.

What do you need from me for a quote?

The year, make and model (or the VIN), what’s happening or the repair you need, and where the vehicle is parked. Warning lights, sounds and when it started all help. Some problems have to be diagnosed before they can be priced; if so, I’ll explain the $90 diagnostic visit before anything is booked.

How is an appointment confirmed?

Sending a request doesn’t book a time. I review it and contact you by your preferred method to confirm the details and agree on a time. Your appointment is set once you and I have both confirmed it.

How do I know if you come to my area?

I work in Cypress, Houston and nearby areas. Text me your ZIP code or neighborhood, or put it in the request form, and I’ll tell you whether I can come to you.

Request service

Send the details and I’ll call or text you back during business hours to confirm what you need and a time. Nothing is booked until you and I confirm it.

Prefer to talk? Call or text (832) 490-5450.

Best way to reach you

It’s on the driver’s side of the dashboard, seen through the windshield, and on the driver’s door frame. On an iPhone, tap the box, tap it again, and choose Scan Text to read it with your camera.

What are you asking for? (optional)

Sending a request doesn’t book a visit or commit you to pay anything. I’ll review it and contact you to confirm the details and a time.
